MONTHLY RECYCLING IN TULUM

Tulum suffers from extreme overbuilding and overconsumption. There is not a viable, sustainable program to handle all of the recyclables, so a rudimentary patchwork system exists.

We were thrilled to discover a new recycling center that opened in December 2020 that is a joint venture of BioHogar and Eukariota, called el Centro Integral de Reciclaje de Tulum.

At the Rotary Club of Tulum, we have made a commitment to volunteer our time on the first Monday of each month from 8am-10am. We're committed to promoting this effort with the goal of encouraging others to join us as well.
